National Park Explorers (Ages 6-12) In-Person
National Park Explorers: Glacier (ages 6-12) – Thursday, May 8 (1-2:30 & 4-5:30 pm)
A program where science meets adventure! Join us on the second Thursday of each month to explore the natural beauty, history, wildlife, and geological wonders of America’s National Parks. Each month will highlight a different park’s unique features, and we’ll conduct a hands-on experiment designed to explore the science behind them. This month we will showcase Glacier National Park, a vast and stunning landscape carved by the ancient glaciers for which it is named. Join us as we discover the treasures left behind by these glaciers that have earned this park and surrounding land its nickname, “the Crown of the Continent”. Please note that this month’s program will run for an hour and a half to fit in a brief hike on Tubbs Hill to identify wildflowers just like the ones you’d see at Glacier!.
This event is intended for children ages 6-12 years old
