Women Who Run with Wolves Reading Club

Women Who Run with Wolves Reading Club In-Person

Women Who Run with the Wolves Reading Club – Saturdays (10:30 am)

Are you ready for a powerful shift to reconnect with your authentic sense of self? Come ready for group discussions, study guides and heart work journaling as we read and discuss “Women Who Run With Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Women Archetype” by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés. Through the stories and commentaries in this remarkable book, we retrieve, examine, love, and understand the Wild Woman, and hold her against our deep psyches as one who is both magic and medicine. The book shows us how societal norms and expectations can stifle women and helps us reconnect with the fierce, healthy, visionary attributes of this instinctual nature. Woman Who Run with the Wolves has lessons for men as well as women. Each session, we will read and discuss passages, supporting materials, and explore recurring themes. Come ready for group discussions and journaling, find us upstairs in the Nelson Room.

Visit www.archive.org for free access to the book. Books can also be acquired through interlibrary loan or used copies purchased from www.abebooks.com or www.thriftbooks.com.
